CBD Oil

In contrast to a broad spectrum CBD oil, with a full spectrum CBD oil you benefit from the whole spectrum of cannabinoids and thus from some more than just CBD. In addition to cannabinoids, valuable terpenes, flavonoids and omega-3 fatty acids are also used. However, full spectrum CBD products also contain a touch of THC. In Switzerland and Europe, however, the legally permitted THC content is so minimal that it cannot be psychoactive. In Switzerland, the legally permitted THC content of all full spectrum CBD products is always less than 1% and in Europe it is always less than 0.2%.

A broad spectrum CBD product also contains terpenes and other ingredients in addition to CBD. However, as with the CBD isolate, no traces of THC can be found in a broad spectrum CBD product. THC is completely removed in broad-spectrum CBD products. Due to this, a positive interaction of the different components is not possible with broad spectrum CBD.

It is our firm belief that the best benefits of CBD oils are obtained only through a full spectrum product. Due to this the Green Passion® and Dolocan® CBD oils are exclusively full spectrum. In addition, several studies have long since proven a positive interaction of the individual components. The cannabinoids, terpenes and oils used work together synergistically to create the so-called “entourage effect” and thus achieve the best activity.

Furthermore, all Green Passion® CBD oils come from resinous hemp flowers from an organic cultivation in Switzerland. Our CBD oils are produced using a supercritical CO2 extraction process and we only use high-quality hemp seed or coconut oils as carrier oils.

All our products contain no artificial ingredients and are free from pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers and growth hormones. Furthermore, all CBD oils in our Green Passion® shop are free from any solvent residues and are also free from heavy metals due to the modern extraction process.

When buying CBD oil, you should make sure that the THC content is in accordance with the local authorities. In Switzerland, the THC content must be below 1% and in the EU it must even be below 0.2%. Furthermore, it is advised to pay attention to the quality of the carrier oil and to any artificial additives. As CBD is a non-approved novel food, all Green Passion CBD oils are declared and registered as a chemical. Due to this declaration, all our CBD oils carry the note “not suitable for consumption” on the packaging. For this reason, Green Passion does not recommend any dosage or intake.

All our CBD oils are obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction, also called CO2 extraction.
The term supercritical does not refer to the production process, but to the chemical state of the carbon dioxide. To extract CBD (cannabidiol) from the hemp plant, the plant material is saturated with liquid CO2. Afterwards, the temperature is raised and the pressure is lowered so that the carbon dioxide can return to its gaseous state and be dissolved from the extract. The result is highly concentrated CBD. Through this safe and effective extraction process, particularly pure extracts with high CBD concentrations can be produced and no solvent residues remain. All our CBD oils are produced and manufactured in Switzerland under the highest quality standards.
